RentMeRV is in the heart of Melbourne, with pick-up points in Coburg North and Box Hill. Both sites have easy access to the airport and freeways.
As a family of five who love the great outdoors, we understand the need for space, comfort and getting away from it all! Our motorhomes have off-the-grid capability, so you can really unwind. We also have rooftop tent/4WD options, if that’s your style!

What are the pick up and drop off times?
Standard pick up 10am, standard drop off 5pm.
If you need something different, please ask 🙂
What is included vs what’s an extra?
Inclusions are items standard with your hire, eg. plates and cutlery. Extras are optional items you can add to make your trip more fun and comfy, such as a Weber barbecue or bed linen. A fee is payable for extras.
Can you deliver the van to me?
Unfortunately we do not offer delivery at this time.
How long does the handover take?
Usually 15-20 minutes, depending on your needs. We want you to feel calm and confident before your trip!
Is there a minimum driver age?
Yes. Drivers must be aged 25 years or above and hold a full license.
Does the motorhome have a bathroom?
Yes, all three of our vans have a full ensuite with shower, toilet and hand basin.
How many kilometres are included?
All vehicles come with 150km/day included as standard, ie. a 3 day hire would include 450km.
Extra kilometres are charged at 50c (cents) per kilometre, ie. a 3 day hire which travels 500 kilometres would pay $25 extra ( 50km x 50 cents)

How long can I go offgrid?
Our vans typically handle 1-2 nights off grid, depending on your use of utilities (eg. lights, fridge). We recommend you charge the battery every other day, or hire our generator to provide more utility.
Can I go to the snow?
Yes! Our vans drive very well on mountain roads and are a great way to visit the snowfields – just remember to take snow chains (available from many alpine region service stations) and take your time 🙂
Can I take my dog or cat?
Yes, travelling with your furry friends can be great fun!
Just make sure they are travelling in a suitable pet carrier or restraint.
A $200 pet fee is payable on all hires that travel with a dog or cat, due to the extra cleaning and sanitising required after your trip.
